«We were left alone in the room, our gazes met, and I unleashed all my anger on her»

Gift of Fate

Her energy was so intriguing that, at first, it caused an inner turmoil and a certain emotional insecurity.

During that period, life seemed mysteriously arranged so that our paths would cross again and again. Sitting opposite, absorbing every gesture, every smile, every moment of her presence was a true pleasure, a real gift of fate. I honestly admitted to myself that I needed nothing more.

When I imagined the person who should be with me for life, I couldn't envision anyone else, anyone better. The feeling of reciprocity that grew between us was so strong that it deafened me with a flood of happiness that everyone dreams of.

With each moment, I craved more and more, like an addict desperately seeking a new dose. My soul demanded more of her presence, more of her laughter, more of her love.

Fateful encounters do happen, they make you believe in happiness, but how hard it is to believe again when trust is shattered.

Deception Breeds Deception

Any relationship based on deceit is doomed. Strong emotions make you believe that your case will be the unique exception. But falling from the heights of illusions inevitably leads to shattered hopes.

Deception in relationships is not just lying in words, but also lying in actions, in omission, in hiding the truth. When you deceive, you're not just misleading another person, you're destroying the foundation of your relationship – trust. And rebuilding it can be incredibly difficult.

It all starts with curiosity, a little mischief, and before you know it, we're destroying each other's lives. In addition to the two of us, the life of another person is irreparably destroyed. Sooner or later, everything will be revealed, but you've already sent your life downhill. Even if it was made up, the brain has etched and recorded it on an emotional level as truth.

Recovering and piecing together your heart bit by bit is hard. It can take a significant amount of time and completely change you and your view of the world.

Anger

I observed an interesting practice with a psychologist who helped a person with a similar situation. It was impressive to me, even though I had never participated in such a session myself.

Close your eyes and imagine that you're in a room with the person who hurt you. You start to vent your anger, vividly and in detail imagining a scene of violence. Then, another person enters, and you continue to unleash your anger together. Next, you start directing their actions, telling them what to do, how to punish, describing it all in great detail. After that, you leave the room and open your eyes.

This practice may seem cruel, but it helps to release accumulated emotions. The feelings are very strange, but it becomes easier.

Life Without Trust

In my new life, I will not allow such a scenario to repeat. As strange as it sounds, life without trust seems calmer. Trust is a tricky thing, and it's hard to promise.

We Were Not Adults, Despite Our Age

Every lie leaves a scar on the soul. They accumulate, creating a barrier between you and the world. You start to doubt everything and everyone, becoming a prisoner of your own fears and distrust. You lose the ability to enjoy, to believe in people, and in yourself.

Overcoming the consequences of deceit takes time and effort. You need to go through pain, disappointment, anger, and decide to move on. You need to learn to forgive – not for the sake of the one who deceived you, but for your own peace and happiness.

Each of us has a choice. We can choose honesty and openness in relationships. We can choose to respect ourselves and others. This choice is not always easy, but it leads to a real, deep, and meaningful connection with other people.

Deception is never the solution. It only complicates life and keeps us away from happiness.

A dry branch dries up until it breaks and falls under the feet of those who walk through the same mistakes.

Come and be friends!
